Meet the newbies

Our digital team is growing!

Here at Third Floor we have a habit of recruiting people and immediately feeling like they’ve always been part of the team. With this in mind, we’re pleased to introduce Harriet and Kenny – better late than never is all we can say.

Harriet, Digital Planner

Harriet joined us in June to tackle the day-to-day running of the digital department. She’s come in and boldly shaken up processes, shuffled them around and created something rather more elegant and functional. Her focus is project management including estimating, scoping and scheduling work into the studio alongside liaising with clients and digital partners.

She brings with her a mixed background of copywriting, proofing & editing, experiential events & marketing, and a stint in retail management & visual merchandising. Harriet has worked on several collaborative design projects as a freelance copywriter including digital and printed publications. You can take a peek at some of her work here: www.harrietmontague.co.uk

When she isn’t squirrelling away on projects at Third Floor, Harriet can usually be found somewhere in the wilderness looking for an undiscovered beach, hunting in flea markets for vintage treasures, or just daydreaming about breakfast.

Kenny, Junior Developer

No longer the newest on the block, Kenny joined us in May for a year long placement as part of his BSc in Computing. He’s a dab hand at writing HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript to build bespoke websites with content management systems (CMS), as well as building HTML email templates.

He spent some time working for a small digital and print agency during a year apprenticeship in Web Development which cemented his thoughts about wanting to delve into the world of web development – and we’re glad of it! He’s always wanting to perfect current practice and looks to improve his skills whenever he gets chance.

Kenny has been dedicated to playing rugby for 10 years and keenly goes to the gym four times a week to support his strength and fitness. He knows more than just a thing or two about music, and is surprisingly knowledgeable across the genres. He’s a great addition to the team and a darn nice guy to have around.
