Square Food Foundation is a cookery school which offers a unique opportunity to people of any age, ability and walk of life to improve their culinary skills. The school is not run for profit and revenue is returned to a community fund which allows them to work with schools and community groups, making the courses as inclusive as possible. Bordeaux Quay, an established business, had reached a point of strategic growth and wanted to change perception of their cookery school, while raising awareness of the practical, affordable courses they offer people of all ages and community organisations.

the story

We carried out a series of workshops with the Square Food team to understand the core company values and ethos. The naming process saw a series of potential brand names audited by the team until the chosen name creative was developed into the recognisable brand.

We then formulated a strategic plan, auditing the existing literature to create a considered launch and ongoing set of communication material.

The new brand identity communicates Square Food Foundations’ believe that cooking is a way of life, not a lifestyle choice… and the range of cooking courses available.

A bespoke website was designed and built from scratch, to ensure that we covered and communicated all the required information clearly. With so many different ways to view websites, the responsive design allows the site to adapt across all platforms, whilst remaining easy to navigate and engage with.
